Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

It is the mission of our office to strive for, attain, and deliver the highest level of dental care for our patients. We will treat every patient in a caring, concerned, empathetic, understanding, honest and professional manner.

What To Expect

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. The first step for you will be to provide us with your new patient paperwork. The more information you can provide us, the more complete look we can take of your overall health and dental wellness. Your first visit will include a comprehensive exam and most likely some x-rays so that Dr. Gardner can properly diagnose any treatment that may be necessary. We will review your treatment with you, answer any questions you have.
